Another Layer

I'll be participating in a Work Show Grow pop-up work-in-progress exhibition, Another Layer, at the Lambeth County Courthouse in London this coming weekend, June 7th-8th, with artists who are doing fresh, exciting, work. If you'll be in London and would like to come, please get in touch!

A Bigger Book Fair at Peckham 24

I was thrilled to participate in A Bigger Book Fair this year with my book dummy for Modern Romance at the Work Show Grow stand. It garnered a lot of interest and I was able to meet and talk with lots of small press publishers and photo collectives.

Workshops

I recently complete a 7-week course, Publishing a Photography Book, with Harvey Stein, at ICP, learning a great deal about the travails of finding a publisher in today's market.

Transitions

We've been in Brighton for nearly 2 months now and we've been enjoying it tremendously. May is the month of the Brighton Festival (and the Fringe). Concurrently we spent each weekend visiting artists' open studios in different neighbourhoods and having delightful conversations with many of the artists. On my blog, obBLOGato, I've been posting daily snapshots from my perambulations around Brighton as we've taken beach walks and investigated where we might like to settle longer term.

Brighton Photo Fringe 2026 Every 2 years Photo Fringe delivers an inclusive festival and everyone is invited. The Fringe runs from the 2nd to the 31st of October this year and I'm looking at some interesting, unconventional public space to exhibit in. More to come... Brighton's bi-annual Photo Fringe is coming in October and I'm working with a small, still to-be-named collective...
